Who operates this site
GulfTimeIndex (gulftimeindex.com) is an independently-operated watch price reference and dealer directory for Saudi Arabia and the GCC. For any privacy question, contact hello@gulftimeindex.com.
Information we collect
We collect only what you choose to give us, and basic analytics about site usage:
- Contact and dealer applications. If you email us or submit the dealer application form, we receive the details you provide — typically name, email, phone, business name, and city. These fields are optional except where marked required on the form.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand overall site traffic — which pages are viewed, and general device/location information (typically country-level, not precise location). This data is aggregated and isn't used to identify you individually.
Who else processes it (our service providers)
We use a small number of third-party services to run this site, each of which processes data on our behalf:
- Web3Forms — receives dealer application form submissions and forwards them to us by email. It does not use your information for its own purposes.
- Google Analytics — collects the usage analytics described above.
- PurelyMail — hosts our email inbox (hello@gulftimeindex.com).
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and provides basic security/performance infrastructure.
These providers may process data on servers located outside Saudi Arabia. We choose providers with their own published privacy and security commitments, but we don't control their infrastructure directly — see each provider's own privacy policy for details on how they handle data.
How we use information
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, to evaluate a dealer application. We don't sell your personal information to third parties, and we don't use it for advertising or marketing without your separate consent.
Your rights under Saudi Arabia's PDPL
Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), regulated by the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA), gives you rights over personal data we hold about you, including the right to: be informed about how your data is used; access the data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion, subject to legal exceptions (e.g. records we're required to keep); and withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@gulftimeindex.com— we aim to respond within 30 days.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. These cookies don't identify you personally. You can opt out using your browser's cookie settings or a browser extension such as Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. If we introduce advertising or affiliate tracking cookies in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
Data retention
We keep contact and dealer-application messages for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and, for dealer applications, to maintain a record of our verification decision — after which we delete them unless we're required to keep them longer for legal or accounting reasons.

This policy describes our actual current data practices in plain language. It is not a substitute for legal advice, and we don't claim it constitutes a complete PDPL compliance certification — if you have a specific legal question about how PDPL applies to your situation, we'd encourage consulting a qualified professional.
