Luxury watch brands in the Gulf
How each brand actually behaves in the Gulf market — availability, waitlists, and whether it trades above or below retail on the secondary market.
Rolex
The most widely held luxury watch brand across the Gulf, with the largest authorized-dealer network in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Regional demand routinely outpaces official allocation, which keeps grey-market premiums active on sport models.

A collector-grade brand with limited boutique presence in the Gulf. Waitlists for steel sport references (Nautilus, Aquanaut) are long, and most regional transactions happen through secondary-market channels.

The Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore have a strong following among Gulf collectors. AP House boutiques operate in the UAE; Saudi buyers often source through regional ADs or verified international dealers.

A high-visibility status brand in the region. Middle East-specific limited editions are common and can carry significant premiums over MSRP given very low production numbers.

One of the most recognized watch brands in the Gulf, with strong retail presence across Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Unlike Rolex's sports models, most Omega references — including the iconic Speedmaster Moonwatch — are readily available at authorized dealers and often sell for less on the secondary market than their retail price, making Omega one of the more approachable ways into a serious Swiss watch.

Rolex's sister brand has grown quickly in the Gulf as buyers look for serious watchmaking without multi-year waitlists. The Black Bay line dominates demand, and most references — including the Black Bay 58 — are available at or near retail, without the grey-market premiums seen on comparable Rolex sports models.

Cartier has a long-standing presence in the Gulf through its jewelry and watch boutiques, with the Santos and Tank collections particularly popular with both men and women buyers. A May 2026 global price increase pushed most steel Santos references higher, and demand has kept some pre-increase stock trading at a modest premium on the secondary market.

Panerai has a devoted following in the Gulf, particularly for its oversized Luminor and Radiomir cases. Like Omega and Tudor, most Panerai references are readily available at authorized dealers rather than allocated, and the brand's watches typically trade below retail on the secondary market.

IWC's pilot's watches have a strong following among Gulf buyers drawn to aviation heritage and clean, technical design. The Mark XX and Big Pilot lines are the most requested; most references are available at boutiques without long waitlists, and typically sell for less than retail once pre-owned.

Breitling's Navitimer and Superocean lines have a solid presence in Gulf boutiques, popular for their aviation and diving heritage. Availability is generally good at authorized dealers, and — like most non-Rolex sport watches — Breitling references typically trade below retail on the secondary market.
